Columbus Citizens Foundation remains an active organization since its founding by Generoso Pope in 1944. The organization sponsors the annual Christopher Columbus Day parade in New York; along with an itinerary of events that take place on the weekend prior to the Monday holiday. This year’s Grand Marshal was Joseph Plumeri, noted philanthropist and CEO of Willis Group Holdings. Following are photos of recently past Columbus Day parades and events sponsored by the Columbus Citizens Foundation.
