Casa Belvedere, the Italian Cultural Foundation of New York, based in Staten Island remains very active. A number of cultural and social events were held this year, one of which was an Italian car show. To learn more about Casa Belvedere, visit their web site at http://www.casa-belvedere.org.

Columbus Citizens Foundation remains an active organization since its founding by Generoso Pope in 1944. The organization sponsors the annual Christopher Columbus Day parade in New York; along with an itinerary of events that take place on the weekend prior to the Monday holiday. This year’s Grand Marshal was Joseph Plumeri, noted philanthropist and CEO of Willis Group Holdings.
