Welcome to the Garden State.
New Jersey—fifth smallest state by size, the sixth highest in taxes. New Jersey—number one in property taxes.
California and New York are far larger than the Garden State. Hawaii, more exotic. Maine and Vermont, more recreational. Yet, these states are in a close race, just a few paces ahead of New Jersey in taxation. How is that possible? The state government in Trenton seems committed to take as much as they can from residents.

For Italian Americans—many of whom built their livelihoods through small business ownership, trades, and real estate—these policies strike directly at the heart of family stability and economic independence. Home ownership, once a point of pride, is now a source of anxiety. Families struggle to keep pace with obscene property taxes that seem designed to drive them out.
PRIMO endorses Jack Ciattarelli for Governor because he represents a return to fiscal sanity, moderation, and respect for the cultural values that made New Jersey strong. A small businessman and lifelong resident, Ciattarelli understands what it means to earn, save, and build. While we would like to see him push even further—toward deeper tax cuts and stronger social conservatism—he remains by far the better choice for those who want New Jersey to be freer, fairer, and more accountable to its citizens.
By contrast, Mikie Sherrill has run a campaign that appeals to the lowest instincts in politics. Rather than debating issues of taxes, crime, or education, she has resorted to divisive innuendo—mocking Ciattarelli’s sharp appearance with crude stereotypes to evoke the worst kind of anti-Italian bias. Even more troubling, her campaign impugned a Muslim spokesman for his religious views, a gesture of hypocrisy from a candidate who claims to stand for tolerance and inclusion.
The Democratic Party in New Jersey has veered toward an aggressive brand of cultural politics twith little patience for dissent and even less respect for heritage. Their leadership has allowed and even encouraged the defacement and removal of Christopher Columbus statues, a direct insult to Italian Americans who see Columbus as a symbol of faith, courage, and discovery. Now, the same activists are pressuring local governments to erase Columbus Day itself. This is nothing more than cancel culture disguised as progressivism—an effort to shame rather than celebrate the contributions of an entire community.
Jack Ciattarelli offers something different: a call to reason, respect, and renewal. He is not perfect, but he is principled. He believes government should serve people, not rule them. He respects tradition without apology. And he stands as the best hope for restoring balance to a state long dominated by one-party rule.
PRIMO proudly endorses Jack Ciattarelli for Governor of New Jersey. He is the candidate of fairness over fear, tradition over ideology, and opportunity over oppression. This Election Day—Vote for Jack!
